Well instead of taking my Red Nose collection to the bank, I paid online via my Debit card and put all the change in my savings tins which meant 2x£2 coins in my Terramundi! My silvers tin benefited alot also!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

Going through a very lean patch at the moment and had to resort to opening tin which contained £123 since the new year, also had to use up my christmas savings (I know aren't I sad) £20 on asda card, £9 sainsbury stamps and £10 m+s vouchers. Never mind start again soon I hope:rolleyes:

I banked my £1 and £2 coins yesterday totalling over £150. I paid it towards the mortgage. I have taken on a part time job with the sole intention of using the extra income to pay off my mortgage. I can't believe my own willpower - I just went in and paid it off. No problem.NSK Zombie # SFD 7/15 Food Bank £0/£5

Hi, I'm new to the site (previous observer!) and to this forum. My hubby bought me a lovely 'Mini Car' savings pot covered in hippy flowers and I use it to save my £2 coins. I've been saving since Christmas but I don't want to count them!! I figured if I knew how much there was then I would be tempted to use them to pay something off with and I don't want to use them for that! I'm saving for a holiday! We also have a Terramundi to save odd change and even my 10 yr old son puts his odd coins in! He says he'll contribute so long as he can smash it!!
Looking forward to getting stuck in with clearing these awful debts....

Hi, I'm new to this too, but would love to join in this one. Somehow managed to get 6 in my change from the grocery shopping yesterday so it's a good start! I've got a tin that you can't get into unless you use a tin opener so I'll use that and wait till it's fullThe person who says it can't be done is likely to be interrupted by the person doing itDFW Nerd 480Proud to be dealing with my debts0

Had a count up and found I had more than I thought so banked £60 and kept back £26 so the piggypot was not completely empty.
Last time I banked they went towards a debt - this time they will be used for bills to help the struggling bank balance.Official : £2 Saver #067/DFW Nerd Club Member #277/Sealed Pot Challenge #5350 -
:T Yesterday I banked £60 and today had to pop out and got one in my change. Seems as thought they always try to make their way back when I release them.
Up to £28 in the piggypot now :jOfficial : £2 Saver #067/DFW Nerd Club Member #277/Sealed Pot Challenge #5350 -
