Have decided to draw out my cash allowance for shopping, diesel, etc so that I am not tempted to go over my set limit using debit card. trouble is, now I'm dealing in cash I will have more £2 coins - good for saving, bad because I'm skint, but I know that I will still save them... my skin's turning grey already... :rotfl:

Could I join too please? I've got £10 of coins in my jar at the moment, but banked £62 that I'd collected from the autumn up to early April (can't remember when I started, just overheard someone in a cafe talking about how they saved money this way and thought it was a good idea).

One problem is, that now that I'm spending less over the past couple of months (writing down every penny I spend curiously has this effect! ), my rate of collecting them seems to be slowing down! Oh well better than nowt, right?

Well I received another 2 £2 coins today and added them to my jar - when my mate heard me say that's another two he thought I had gone bonkers so he asked how many I had got - I told him £48 and I have only been saving them since January:j

Don't go near Nationwide B soc, unless you want £2coins:eek: Everytime my children spend some of their money I try to pay myself back & they give me £2 coins! great for saving, but does leave you a bit skint for the week:p

I had to get some money back from our club that I go to and they gave me a £2 coin, when I said, oh, i have to save that now, she went to change it but I quick grabbed it back and will lovingly put it into the pot... how sad is that:rotfl:
Not started drawing out my cash yet, but will do once I get organised by the end of this week, so may start to get more. Off now to update siggy...
