Had a nice little grey piggy bank for my £2 coins and was building up nicely - up to £134. Deal was to fill it, then bank it. And I wasn't far off. Then someone gave me a lovely BIG shiny pink pig from the Breast Cancer Campaign. Huge it is! Obviously can't wait until this one is filled. Just think of all that lost interest. Trouble is, I feel robbed. Not so much satisfaction in reaching a target of say £100 as filling up my pig. I can't even go back to the old one. My daughter has pinched it for her £2 coins. Hasn't stopped me though. It's nice just to count it from time to time!0

Hey ive just signed up,have been reading these £2 savers posts for a while and have started saving already got these good tins that you open with a can opener so you cant dip into it. all you do is fill it up with £1 or £2 coins (£2coins in this case) until it is completely full and u should have between £500-£700 in there. you can get these cans from a website called jumpinggiraffe.com theyre pretty big and only cost £2. just wondering while im posting here can any1 tell me how to do sigs? thanksDue to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.
