As they are living together they are classed as a couple. If he has not worked then he will not be entitled to Contribution based JSA, as she works full time he is not entitled to income based JSA (which he would have been at his parents)
She could look into WTC as the limit for a couple is higher than for a single person and also look at housing benefit (LHA)0
