Boxing day travel...
Anyone with a car travelling from or near from Nottingham to or near to Maidstone on Boxing Day? Supposed to be travelling down that day to spend it with my girlfriend and her family but there's just no public transport running at all. We could split fuel costs etc.
Unless anyone else has any other suggestions... I have a driving license but no car and no insurance.

Hire a car although you will probably have to collect it before Christmas. Or get a Taxi.0

But (assuming you mean 26 December) there IS public transport in the form of National Express coaches Nottingham to London and London to Maidstone0

There are national express coaches running all day boxing day so if you live within walking distance of the stops that might be an idea. Otherwise just pay her half the fuel costs.
I'm having the same issue and have resigned myself to driving 300 miles on boxing day.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -
