Boxing day travel...

Options
Anyone with a car travelling from or near from Nottingham to or near to Maidstone on Boxing Day? Supposed to be travelling down that day to spend it with my girlfriend and her family but there's just no public transport running at all. We could split fuel costs etc.

Unless anyone else has any other suggestions... I have a driving license but no car and no insurance.

  • Hire a car although you will probably have to collect it before Christmas. Or get a Taxi.

Is there another Boxing Day? :D
  • There are national express coaches running all day boxing day so if you live within walking distance of the stops that might be an idea. Otherwise just pay her half the fuel costs.

I'm having the same issue and have resigned myself to driving 300 miles on boxing day.

For public holidays this year, the 26th Dec is the Christmas Day holiday and the 27th is the Boxing Day holiday.
