I have found an old pioneer car amp which I am going to rig up (see previous thread)
The model is GM 1000A.
I have the connecting kit but require the correct output connectors. There are 4 pins side by side - a circle, then square, then circle, then square - diameter approximately 4mm.
Can anyone point me towards the right connectors please?
Many thanks.

you handy with a solder? what i did was solder ofc free cables to my jensen comp amp output, then heat shrinked around the terminal to make the connection rigid.0

A bass tube i fitted for a mate had these connectors, they're quite common and I had the same type connector but with more pins and I just stanley-knifed it down to 4 pins. It worked fine.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Where does one get hold of this type of connector that can be modified?0

I thinks its may be a 'molex mini fit' type connector
Maplin - go into a store with radio and guy behind comonents counter should help you
RS components - and industrial supplier - pricey and you have to kow what you want aqnd mi n order is usally quite large0 -
Another place to look is www.polevolt.co.uk or www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk they both do all sorts of connectors for audio and engine loom plus lots more.
I've dealt with both and they're top notch.0
