Please help!
My dear son has spilt a just made pot noodle on my antique brown leather sofa.   I mopped it up straight away but it has left a huge very dark stain where the hot liquid spilt. A bit like what a hot cup does on a table.
Is there anything I can do. I have tried the leather cleaner I have but its not taken away the darkness.
It looks awful, run marks everywhere as it dispersed.

First of all how old is it? is it worth getting in touch with the shop where you bought it? they may have some magic potion for this kind of thing?
Well, if you feel you have nothing to lose? think about buying some sponge on shoe polish in a matching colour and see if you can "buff out" the stains?
Leather is leather and whilst there are different grades, it is all skin & organic so if it is as bad as you say it can only be made better by polishing it;)
I would rub the polish well in and leave to "soak in" for a little while, then when its had chance to get into the grain, I would buff it up until there was no polish residue coming off on to cloth.
On a less serious note, might be a good opportunity to remind you son, if that's what a Pot Noodle does to a tough leather sofa, what on earth is it doing to his stomach:eek:0 -

It was a sweet and sour one. :rolleyes:0 -
I'd use saddle soap to try and get the stain out.
Only if that didn't work would I try blending it in with shoe-polish but make sure to use a renovating one that contains tanners dyes.0
