My blood still boils when I re-read that thread. Were those criminals ever prosecuted for those illegal and threatening letters? I can imagine some poor sod being scared witless by them if they hadn't the foresight to research the truth.trisontana wrote: »If you look at page three of this thread, you will see the illegal documentation left by the so-called "bailiffs" :-

I live in a private house on a large country estate. About a year ago I had a knock on the door from a private debt collecting agency. The debt was from an ex-girlfriend that was long gone. The owner of the estate overheard all the conversation and then walked away. The debt collectors did not believe me. About 5 mins later the landowner returned into view and was asked about my ex and he confirmed she had not been seen for over 6 months. He then told me that his tractor had overheated and he had to leave it on the main drive to cool down, so I would be stuck in the main car park for some time. His main tractor runs on four tracks just like a tank's track. No way of pushing or towing. You should have seen the debt collector's face when he realised he was stuck. The landowner then proceeded to dress the debt collector down asking who had given him permision to cross his land and why did he park in his private car park etc, he then took all details about the debt collector, his car details and then pretended to call the police. 45 mins later the landowner went and checked the engine temp and decided it was cool enough to start!! As soon as the tractor moved the debt collector's car shot off. He's not been seen since.0
