    Thanks for the replies.

The reason behined this was previously I have made afew orders with La redoute and paid by credit card. This was afew months ago. for afew days order remains on the account and shows up as being processed and then disapears. I rang la redoute and dont have any details of orders.

Just 2 weeks I decided to place an order again and applied for their credit account. The credit account was accepted straight away. Until 19/10 order showed as being processed and but now it disapears again. I sent a strong email to la redoute, got a reply back stating:-

    Thank you for your email.
A letter has been sent to inform you that we were unable to release the goods below to the my address and apologise for any
    inconvenience caused.

I rang them and the adviser said all orders has been cancelled becuase of previously account activity at our address. We have been living at this address for the last 4 weeks and their has been no dealing with la redoute. They basically cancelled the order because of previous occupants of the property. Can they do that? I told the adviser if previous owners has run their account badly or defaulted accounts its not my fault.

I today received a letter from their investigation department saying account has been closed and no further orders will be accepted at our address.

What should I do? Thanks MS

    Hi

No doubt they have consulted a fraud database such as this:

    http://www.synectics-solutions.com/proj_siramota.asp

I know it's unfair but there's not a lot you can do. They don't have to have you as a customer.

Perhaps get a friend or family member to place the order for you?

    Regards
