hi,
i parked my car at the london road car park in newark where the cinema is and put a 1 - 2 hour car park ticket on. I went to watch a film that had a run time of 107 mins and thought 2 hours parking would be adequate especially as we got there at 12:57 3 mins before the start of the film.
However when we got back to the car it was 15:10 and we had a parking ticket which claims had been put on at 15:06 after watching and waiting from 15:05, my question is is there no grace period that they have to wait before putting a ticket on especially as we brought what we thought was enough time?

As this was a council ticket, all I can suggest is that you appeal to Newark & Sherwood Council, giving your reasons for the overstay. You might be lucky.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
