Just gone to buy a new stock of jiffy or mail lite bags and I am shocked at how expensive they have suddenly become. I was paying about 6-7p an envelope previously and now my usual places are more like 12-13p an envelope.
Has anyone else any good suppliers who are sub 10p on a size D1 in lots of around 200?
Thanks

Get the Mail Lites instead of the Jiffy bags - they are better in my opinion.
I find ebay is always the cheapest - You can get 300 at just over 8.5p each on listing id 300474647580 for example.0 -
D/1 jiffy bags the cheapest is £102.99 for 1000 on eBay which is still 10.3p each. Perhaps you should take the cheaper Mail Lite bags?0

The Mail Lite bags are excellent. I've been using them for nearly a year now and send many orders out every day using them.0

Mail lite certainly seem a tad cheaper so I think I may go for them instead. I'm just deciding now on whether to buy 500 and squash the extras into storage, or to be more sensible and buy them in 100 lots every time i run out.
I had a huge stock before when i used to sell books so haven't had to buy any for months, I was quite surprised though at how much dearer they have suddenly become.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you don't mind waiting a while the cheapest place for bubble envelopes is https://www.aliexpress.com, although its cheaper to use bubble wrap and mailing bags0

If you buy 2 lots (200) or more of these then they are really quite cheap http://www.aliexpress.com/product-gs/358069901-bubble-envelopes-wholesalers.html0

Its not cheap once you add the shipping! Even if you don't get hit for VAT and ParcelForce fees, 2 lots work out at $35.30 which is about £23 so works out at about 11p an envelope! And thats via China Post which could take weeks!0

I'm not sure what D1 is? but JL1 jiffy bags are a fair price from Allpacksolutions either on eBay or their website is a tad cheaper, £196 for 2000 JL1. If you want to buy via the pallet load (4600) then try UK Packaging PLC:

who used to ship to us direct from the manufacture in Germany (I think). Excellent service from both companies in my experience. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
