I'm totally Fed up With A&L offshore .

First I hope ive posted my request in the right place, I live in Thailand and have an offshore internet account with Alliance & Leicester ( Isle of Man eSaver Offshore Flexible Monthly Income , and currently paying interest of 2.69% [ no deduction of tax ] ) and I'm fed up with the never ending problems I keep experiencing , I all ways feel when trying to contact them , their attitude is one of , they are doing me a big favour , and I really should not be bothering them, recently they sent me a form to fill in requesting my personal details, which I duly posted back right away, over the next few weeks I received more and more of the same information request letters ( 6 in total ) . To day I received a letter saying that they are going to block my account in Three days time as they have not received my information. I am currently dealing with the massive flooding problem here in Thailand , and was about to request a transfer of funds from my A&L account to help repair my flood damaged home and family hospital bills . I am totally fed up with A&L offshore ( Isle of Man ) . So that's it in a nut shell .

I have had a quick look at local expat forums here in Thailand seeking an alternative to A&L off shore account but reliable information is hard to come by , so I posting my request here in the hope some one can offer me a glimmer of hope.

So I am looking for some thing similar just to try and cut the chord with A&L , But I feel there may be a problem in me applying for a new offshore internet account , when I have a Thailand home address, all thought I do still have a UK HSBC bank account .

I thought I would run my problem by the experst here and see what advice I may get back .

cheers - William
