  • hi,

have to say that i ausually go for books and moneyboxes!

bookpeople alway do great sets of books as childrens presents, 10 book set of fairy tale books for £10 etc.

also i like getting them a nice money box with some money in them to start little one on correct path for saving...at the moment i am buying a black piggybank which comes with chalk so the child can write or draw what they are saving up for on the money box - found this to be a useful tool in helping to inspire saving!

if these options have already gone i go for bookends from a company called Lanka Kade as they have a huge range and are fair trade

    hope this helps.
  • Vouchers would be good then the mum can get what the babies need but I always think that it looks like not much effort has gone into the gift even though practicle.

Toys of essence website do a good range of wooden toys which as they are 10 months old would be good for when they are a little older.
