  • i guess you can go to any standard holiday resort after the passing 6months of baby's age, i was with my son in egypt in **** star resort, just make sure they have some playpark or facilities for small kids, occasional babysitting service to not get bored totally.
  • Hiya,
just realised the website i mentioned has a link on it to another one they have called gocampfrance. I have had a look and there are some quite good campites on it. One of the ones they have i went to a few years ago when my eldest was a bit younger. Its called chateau des ormes, was quite busy but there's alot to do there. We loved it as a family holiday. Have also seen some of the quieter ones on there as well. We liked going camping in France especially as you can get some campsites which are a short distance from the ferry ports. Hope this helps.
By the way has anyone been to Italy. I really fancy going in 2013 but not sure how expensive it is. Might have to continue with France or Spain.

    I agree with Davey ^^^

Our youngest was 19 days old the first time he flew. Took a sealed carton of milk & some boiled water in a bottle.

Soooo easy compared to flying with a 18-24 month old

Do it now OP, while you can. Before you're consigned to cottages/Haven/ Butlins for a few years:D

My DS is 3 years old now and went to Egypt when he was 6 months old, was the easiest holiday by far!! We have been abroad 5 times since and the first time was the easiest lol. I am 25 weeks pregnant now with number 2 and will be holidaying in the UK next year - I am due in March but think July will be far too hot for baby so not risking it this year.

When my son was 6 months old, he was fab on the plane, sat in the paddling pool under and umbrella next to my sun lounger and slept in pushchair at night whilst we ate and had a few drinks. The hotel provided a full wooden cot and very very accommodating.

I took a couple of the heinz boxes/packets to mix with hot water and enough powder to milk for my son to have every night before bed. He was fine. (I took a travel kettle too as we were all inclusive).

Don't forget to pack a sun parasol and light clothing such as romper suits and vests. My son loved it and would defo say was the easiest holiday the younger he was.

We went to Turkey the month before he turned 2 and it was a nightmare flight as he was on my knee and just wouldn't sit still. Went again when he had just turned 2 and had his own seat and was much better.

    Good luck with your choice.
