Sorry but this made me LOL!
The excessive use of capitals made me picture a crazy person shouting at the top of their voice in the middle of the street to anyone who will listen!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Okaaay. They ran out of something you ordered (which is likely to be a) in short supply anyway and b) probably popular due to its reduced price). They then had the decency to phone you up and tell you that you couldn't, unfortunately, have what you'd ordered rather than merely cancel your order. Seems like good customer service to me.
What happens when you really get bad service? Capitals and an increased font size? Colour?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Maybe you could explain (without using caps) why M&S Customer Service isIS TERRIBLE LIKE BANGING YOUR HEAD AGAINST A BRICK WALL
Nothing I've read in your post indicates that their CS is 'terrible'.
And exactly how is it a con?
Did they take your money and refuse to give it back?
Did they promise to supply goods of a certain standard but supplied inferior products?
Thought not.0 -
OP should think themself lucky. I don't even get a telephone call! The order jus simply disappears from the "my orders" page as if it was never made in the first place.0
-
Maybe the OP ordered a new keyboard that didn't have a faulty caps lock key. I can see why they would be so annoyed!Thinking critically since 1996....0

Surely a retailer the size of M&S should have an automated system where items can't be ordered from their website if they are out of stock, and it stops taking orders when they've sold the last one.
Hardly complex, but it does seem beyond them.0 -
So why has the OP edited the text out of his post?0
