LCD Screen and Security Camera

Looking to buy a cheap LCD computer monitor to use as a screen for an 'Argos' security camera that you plug into scart socket on your TV.
Can you plus these cameras into LCD monitors ????
I have a feeling that they might not work.
I am trying to set up a small office security camera system but dont want to have to get a TV licence just to use an LCD TV for a security camera.
Law abiding citizen that I am.

you only need a licence if you watch the telly broadcasts.

Thanks for the reply albertross.....but you are wrong.
You need a TV licence to use a TV even if you are only using it as a monitor.

Is it possible to use a LCD monitor designed for PC?

Depending on what size screen you're loking at have you thought about a portable DVD Player, I have just looked on Argos and they have one with a 7 inch screen for £60 with A/V in, complete with an A/V cable. Just a suggestion !
