I'd rather they use my money to buy themselves a fridge.
After I went down myself to see if there was no way I could have a blood test done, I was told that they may be able to fit me in at the very end of practice, but that my blood test results would be unreliable. When I asked why, I was told that they didn't have a fridge in which to store blood samples overnight.
I've never had any issues with having a blood test in the afternoon at any other practice, but my current GP apparently won't fork out for overnight storage, or after-surgery transportation to the blood centre 15 minutes away at the hospital.
I was told I should have called this morning, and when I pointed out that I had done so about 10 times between 8:30am and 10:30am when my husband left for work, I was just met with "oh."
Not that it would have mattered, when I was discussing it with my step mom, she said she'd called at 8:45am and got through after a long hold, only to be told they had no appointments left until this afternoon's surgery, but she would have to call back at 3:30 to book. She didn't bother in the end, she'd only wanted something trivial.

You haven't responded to my suggestion that you urgently contact your MP.

Repeatedly posting on here is going to get you precisely nowhere.

    Contact you MP.

Contact your local CAB to determine the relevant authority that oversees your GP's practice and contact them.

These actions may improve things for you and, if your surgery are as incompetent and, apparently, money grabbing, as you make out, may save a life.
