Check the T&C's because you may have only a 14-day cooling-off period.Living for tomorrow might mean that you survive the day after.
It is always different this time. The only thing that is the same is the outcome.

yeah, that's what i'm saying. people talk about IFAs as if they offer unrivalled financial advice.
unfortunately in the real world some IFAs are incomptent and some are commission hungry. things that should be remembered by anyone going to an IFA.
And some electricians are out for your money even when its not needed. Try watching Rogue Traders!
Doesn't mean the world should stop using electricians.0 -

Every profession has bad apples but the complaints stats show that you would have to be damned unlucky to get a bad one.
The biggest IFA compliance network (with 9000 advisers) got just 76 complaints at the FOS in the last period. Of those, there were 16 PPI complaints. Just look at the banks in comparison.
Nobody can claim perfection but your anti-IFA posts are quite tiresome. Sure, point out things to look out for but dont tar all with the same brush.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

tbh, i find the "we all love IFAs and the fund management industry" posters in this board a bit tiresome. i just try and present an alternative viewpoint.0 -
