no one can tell you which is the best mattress for you.
and even if you try one out in the bed shop, 5 minutes laying down isnt really a good test.
plenty have done that and lived to regret it later on.
its all a bit hit and miss.Get some gorm.0 -
We bought a sleep to live mattress,we laid on a machine in shop and it determined which type was best for us.It is one double mattress but my side is firmer than my wifes side.It is fantastic but not cheap.0

If you use Ikea you can lie on all the different types instore to see what you prefer. Going through the Soft/Firm and Springy/Relaxed options will help narrow down what you want.
In addition they will do a swap if you dont like it within 90days!0 -
Just reminded me,we got a 90 day return and a 10 year guarantee0

Well pocket springs are superior to open coil springs, but beyond that it's all about personal preference. I have a pocket sprung mattress with latex topping and I like it. I know memory foam is all the rage these days but I couldn't stand the thought of laying in a mould of myself plus memory foam is supposed to be very warm and I get hot enough under a duvet.0

I'm getting this one next http://www.thesleeproom.com/products/our-perfect-mattress
Hate memory foam, have one at the moment and can't wait to get rid of it! It's only a couple of years old, but much prefer pocket spring mattress.0
