In work credit scheme?

Does anyone have any knowledge of this scheme, how easily it is to apply & be awarded etc.
No one mentioned it to me at the jobcentre, nor that of the job grant.
I only heard of it through word of mouth & have searched here but 'credit' brings up far too many options.

Would love to hear opinions of this scheme, successes & failures of applying.

Just to add, I was awarded In Work Credit, albeit over 4 years ago now. Was all sorted out by my Lone Parent Advisor at the Job Centre and went quite smoothly, as long as you provide them with pay slips, as and when requested. No problems that I can recall.

You must also have been out of work for at least 52 weeks before you start work and getting:

• Income Support
• Jobseeker's Allowance
• Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

Damn I have been out of work for 50 weeks so just miss out on this payment!
