Help!!!!!

Hi can anyone tell me if any help is available if you find a job under 26 weeks. I can only see a run on etc if you have been claming 26 weeks ive only been on it 8weeks and may be forced to turn the job down as i will not get any money for 6 weeks. Thanks in advance

    You could try getting a crisis loan from the job centre, it's not ideal but unfortunately it is their solution for this situation, I did not get run on JSA and I had been claiming for more than 26 weeks, my payments stopped as soon as I notified them I had started work, so don't think you can turn this job down, get another after 26 weeks and claim run on JSA, it doesn't work that way.

    You're likely to have your JSA stopped if you turn down an offer of employment.
  • any job you start will have a time lag between signing off jsa and getting wages. apply for a budgeting loan or ask family/friends. approach your local credit union.
