Hi hope someone can halp me i ordered a beko washing machine from the catalogue on 16th of may and over time i have noticed my light washes have been comming out with what can only be described as oil stains on them.I had an engineer from beko come out who tried saying that i must of put something in the wash even tho i explained 5 bath sheets 2 duvet covers 2 valance sheets 6 school blouses 5 wrk shirts etc would not fit in one was he still put it in his report nothing wrong with machine. On calling beko they said because he could not find nothing wrong they would charge me for another engineer to come out and to call catalogue to sort out something on calling them they have said that because 6mths has gone and i need to get an engineer to state what fault is in the machine causing this they wont change it so im still paying for a machine that is ruining my clothes and as a single mum i cant afford to keep replacing these items can anyone please advice me on what to do many thanks

Hi,
When I am working it out it appears that it is 5 months not 6 months, so write to them so that the complaint is recorded, unless you bought the machine last year

Secondly try a hot cycle with some fairly liquid, I did this last month as the white clothes were coming out with black stains, left it on at 90 degrees and it cleaned the machine, I then done a empty cycle and the water was clean the second time round, clothes have been coming out cleaner and nicer smelling also.0 -
Mine did this after 5/6 years of use. Also a Beko. Had to scrap it in the end, tried the very hot wash and no effect. Only Beko product I've had problems with.0

I wouldn't recommend puitting Fairy Liquid in a washing machine, it would be foam mayhem, the Kids will enjoy it though.
A couple of empty 90 degree washes with washing powder/liquid/tabs and see how it goes.
The drum should be sealed from the motor so it grease shouldn't be able to get inside the drum.
Are there any leaks underneath, around the back?
Have you cleaned out the filter (normally a little screw in unit at the front bottom of the machine)?0 -
hiya thanks for your advice I know its not the filter as I have checked it I am pretty clued up on things that go wrong on machines I have been known to change the brushes and belts etc I am going to try one of the machine descalers and see what happens from there will keep you updated:beer:0
