There must be a lot of competition now, with all the forums doing it. I'm still going to give it ago, would feel awesome to win.0

When I started comping I won a BBQ, concert tickets and a case of wine (all one prize) within three or four days. This inspired me to carry on although I mistakenly thought I would be winning a prize like that about once a week. :rotfl:0

I started about the same time and won nothing. Hubby however has won a couple of small things but I only enter things I really really want. I find entering them quite fun though so I dont mind not winning although a win soon would be very very nice
I also go on the freebie forum so have had some nice freebies and they keep me happy

I started in May 2010 and it was about 6 weeks before my first win and the longest I have been without a win is about 2 months. I enter 100+ per day and have had a few nice wins (£100+) and lots of small ones but have had to enter a lot of comps. I tried to work out my hourly earnings taking into account the number of hours I spend entering comps and the approx value of my wins and it worked out at less than £2 and hour :rotfl:
Its definately not an easy/good way of making money but its the thrill of knowing I might win something big someday that keeps me going.0 -
I don't keep track but I enter tens and tens (not sure if it goes to hundreds yet, honestly I don't count) a day, usually check here three or more times a day and work back through the pages. I don't use Twitter or enter things on FB so that's restricting, but go for most things otherwise.
One day...0 -
Took me about a month for my first win then started winning regularly, a few big but mainly small, the freebies keep me going!
I do hundreds a day, started in July.
Some companies are really slow at letting people know they have won so you might still be in with a chance with many of them, also things just turn up (my favorite) so keep trying and GOOD LUCK ! xxx
Thanks to all who post, good luck one and all.:hello:  :j:beer::hello:0 -
I started in June and won an Xbox game about 2 weeks after I started. I then only won a few smallish things, mostly from Facebook, until August when I won a fridge and £500, a mobile phone in September and then I won a large home entertainment prize this month worth £1,500. It feels like I've been quite lucky so far, I'm not sure how this compares to other compers, but I'm doing between 50-100 comps a day and I don't think I've gone longer than about 2 weeks without a win. So please don't give up, it only takes one nice win and all your time spent will have been worth it0

I don't mean this rudely but how can people manage to do 100 competitions a day? There is no way I have the time!2011 Wins - Dave Gorman Tickets :j Sony Bravia TV :beer:0

Don't know about others but for me it seems like most things are simply click an answer and enter a few details, takes less than a minute or two, especially when the forms remember what you've written and you can just double click to make details come up! It does add up but no more so than watching a TV programme, browsing other random things on the internet, etc.0
