Another broadband useage question

I've just had a new lappy and am getting round to kitting it out, I have used NetMeter previously and I thought that I would use it again.
The problem is that my new machine is a Mac and when I went to Cnet to download it, it says that it is for Windows based platforms only. I did a search on this forum and came up with Networx but that is also only available for Windows.
Can anyone recommend a suitable free download ?
p.s. I am assuming that there is no inbuilt facility on the Mac to do what I want but unfortunately I am not as "intuitive" has the machine is claimed to be. :o
