avoid Autodirect.co.uk - like the plague

I just wanted to share my experiences with the above company - it is unfortunately some kind of extra skulduggary being employed by car insurance companies to charge more for policies:
I had a similar experience with Aviva - so changed to another when I changed my vehicle - only to discover them doing the same thing: refusing to accept proof of no claims bonus & then demanding more money to `cover the shortfall'! Aviva capped what no claims they would discount on to 5 years. Autodirect.com despite me sending faxes & scanned insurance certificates going back to 2002 (when I had 4 yrs NCB) have now requested I get letters stating no claims bonuses from all companies on their headed notepaper & supply by 28th Oct!:mad: I have been changing insurance companies fairly regularly - sometimes annually as every time renewal was due someone else quoted me cheaper & one even advised me to go elsewhere when I quoted them a competitors figures! This is getting beyond a joke - my premium was based on 9 years NCB which I actually have & more!
I got the quote & policy from autodirect.com from one of the comparison websites Martin quoted.:(
