Browser back button

Options
I am using XP pro and IE8 and this morning on MSE only the browser back button is not working first time every time.
I have tried logged both in and out (it happens with both) and also multiple other websites but it is only on MSE that it happens.
It takes 2 clicks on the back button most times to get it to go back to the previous page, if I click the recent pages arrow and select the previous page it works OK but not if I just click the back arrow.

Not a major issue but thought I would let you know and wondered if anyone else was having this problem.

Same here, i've been shouting at my lappy and it's very upset at being blamed for something that's not it's fault.

It won't be a forum issue it's your PC / browser issue. When you click 'back' on IE it isn't telling the forum anything, just going back to a previously cached page.

Dunno about that, it's only been happening today on MSE and isn't happening on any other website.

Any idea what we can do to fix it? I'm using IE9 and its only happening on MSE for me too.

After a bit of googling it would appear to be a problem between IE and sites that use V bulliten (this site does) I still have no idea how to solve it though:( or even if we can, I tried resetting IE but it made no difference.

Glad I found this thread - I was starting to think that my aim was off and I was missing the back button completely.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
