can i get free phone over internet

hi all

my daughter has dyslexial, and is moving out to attend uni, for her master degree,
last 3 yrs she's lived at home, but now has to move due to distance

she writes up her work the my mrs puts it makes sense of the sentances for her, worked great face to face

now we have to do it over the phone,
is there a way they can talk over the internet and my mrs can reword daughters work (remote with both viewing work from their lappys would be great)

    Yes teamviewer and its free for personal use

    install on both machines, when you want to connect to your daughters, get her to give you the id and password , make sure you allow the program through the firewall if asked, and bingo you should be connected :)

    Skype and if you have a webcam, you will be able to see each other as well.

    Try http://sync.in/.

    Basically, you both log in and edit the same document at the same time, whilst allowing you to chat - although nothing stops you from using Skype for example to chat instead.

    There are a whole variety of Collaborative Editing sites. Google offers a very powerful product as well. This video using Google's product should help you understand the products on offer. I would recommend trying http://sync.in/ before using something like Google just to get you used to how it works, then move onto something like Google so you can take advantage of some of it's more powerful features.
