Tesco Insurance Woe !

I cant believe it, I received a renewal on my house insurance from Tesco, and due to turmoil I failed to notice that the b******s have doubled my premium from £300 TO £600 !!:( for the next year.
They have already collected the money last month from my bank account as I took a direct debit out to start with.
Is there any way I can cancel and get part of the money back?
I know its my fault but this one slipped under the radar, any help MOST appreciated.

You can ask Tesco what the pro rata price is, aslong as you have not made a claim this year (new policy) then you can cancel and pay for the usage you had and the admin fee and have a refund.
If you are getting nowhere private message me so I can give you the relivant directions0 -
Alistair,
Thanks for your advice, I have now contacted TESCO and have received a pro rata refund,
'They thought they won the battle but have since lost the war!'
Have since taken out a new policy with co-op at a much cheaper price.
:j
Lesson learnt, it WON'T happen again!
