Just to say I bought the 17" monitor this morning from Aldi and first impressions are that it's a very decent peice of kit, well worth the money, thakns very much Aldi and to the original poster, I would have missed this!0

Now back online after connecting ALDI PC. Tower unit quite small - only one spare bay I think. Very quiet - seem to recall others complaining that ALDI PCs are noisy!0

Just to let you know that Aldi in Widnes has 20 pc's left as of 12 noon today, a few tablets, about 10 printers, loads of speakers. didnt see the monitor but that may have been in the back0

I got the 5:1 speakers from my local Thamesmead store yesterday...and they are excellent for £25 tag... nothing fancy...but they are very slim....sound brilliant to my untrained ears and now give me 5:1 sound in the bedroom for when we wanty to watch a film in bed.
Loads of printers, graphics tablets, scanners and screens left.... the screens are excellent value for money.
Also the £5 AV lead pack...with a 10 metre SVIDEO lead is a bargain if ever I saw one.0
