I dont know where you are but Index in Widnes had a few graphic tablets in stock reduced from £35 to £11.99.

rem that if u want one of these, make sure that you get to the store early to avoid dissapointment!

I got one a caouple of years ago, and although the spec is nowhere up to the standard that the one on offer at the moment is, the reliability is brill. So much so that a friend of mine that works in IT got one as well - he reckoned that the component parts were all of a good standard, and to buy the items individually, there was little proce difference, and you would have to trawl through a variety of sources to get the best prices for the similar spec.

Don't be put off getting a PC from ALDI, the after sales service is covered by Synstar.

My sister bought a MEDION pc and was concerned that it was heating up. They came to her home and replaced the fan, even though it was a precautionary measure - good work!

Be aware that most parts have to be ordered from Germany and you could be waiting weeks for a new part if anything goes wrong.

The last Aldi PC that was out a couple of months back had loads of problems hopefully they are cured in this model

You got the last one they had on offer you mean ?
  • Well first of all Aldi are !!!!!! me off because there is no such thing as a 64-bit Intel processor. Intel are currently making one but it is not released yet. Second of all i have done some research on the ATI RADEON X740 XL PCI Express Graphics Card. Funny thing is that it doesnt exist.
I have looked on the official ATI site and they have never heard of that.
Also Aldi have this thing where they do not believe in having phone lines to contact them, they think it is good NOT to have one :S So i cannot contact them and question them about this computer.
However i do think that they do have good computer offers, looking at their last one.

The graphics cards are usually only available in the Aldi PC's as Medion buy thousands of them they are especially made to there requirements , this could be the case for the processor as well.
