Velcro

Has anyone any ideas how to get fluff of velcro? just washed my coat and my dd coat, and the velcro is full of fluff. tried picking it but it takes ages and can't get all of it out,

any ideas?

tried and search and didn;t bring up anything, so apologies if i;'ve missed a thread somewhere about it.

Stiff bristled brush/one with metal bristles or a a comb might work to brush it out, or blu-tack?

Try a thick sewing needle (one with a blunt end that's used for needlepoint) and take it between the bristles, row by row. You may need to be patient and repeat a couple of times.

Honest.

Use some of the hook side to grab fluff off the soft side. The hook bits are easy enough to clean with a brush.
