When people post on here asking for letter-templates they often don't welcome anyone asking questions in order to help them properly. Then they complain that they're not getting "constructive" replies.

This particular OP is one of those and seems to have an axe to grind with our DaveyShadow.

If they truly felt they had a case against the EA they could have sought professional advice rather than asking a bunch of unreliable strangers on t'internet and then getting @rsey when they don't get exactly what they want.

    Sad really

When people post on here asking for letter-templates (or asking any other question for that matter) they often don't welcome particular pack in return asking them at best totally irrelevant, at worse simply nosy and intrusive questions, only to proceed to, more often than not, offer totally irrelevant opinions rather than constructive and helpful answers in the end. This particular OP is definitely one of those! As for an axe to grind with 'your' DaveyShadow, this OP doesn't seem to be the only one. ;)

As for asking a 'bunch of unreliable strangers on the internet', well BitterAndTwisted if that is how you see yourself, who am I to disagree :T

Saying that, if you do happen to need my opinion on the issue of complaining about EA in the future, please feel free to ask. You see TPO seems to agree with my feeling that 'we have a case against EA'.
So as I'm no Bitter, I'll gladly help :)

Quoted for the sake of history.

For whatever reason, newhome4us seems now to be conducting a vindictive little campaign against me. Look, your problem is with the agent. If you don't like the advice, then tough.

Dvardy, don't flatter yourself, there's no vindictive little campaign, I'm just giving my opinion on a forum. If you don't like, then tough. Whoops, did I just quote you there :D

Such is life on a public forum!

It has often been the case that one question is asked in a first post but when more information is finally forthcoming it becomes clear that the issues presented are not the fundamental ones which need to be addressed.

I doubt that the majority of people ask what may appear to be intrusive or irrelevant questions just for sport. Some of them are knowledgeable and have valuable experience to pass on.

You appeared to not like the answers you got in the thread you started and that's unfortunate. Such is life. As far as I can see you haven't provided any useful advice or information yourself to anyone on here. Which is a pity because despite all appearances you might actually have had some.

    I couldn't agree more Bitter.
Majority don't ask just for sport, minority do unfortunately sometimes cross that line IMHO.

Some of them are knowledgeable and have valuable experience to pass on.

Indeed, there are number of professionals here who are very knowledgeable and indeed give very valuable advice in a sort of 'pro bono' way.
Many are using their own experience on a particular matter to again give valuable advice or even just support, again very commendable.

Some however do seem to be The Jack of All Trades who are simply answering everything and anything regardless of whether they actually do have either professional know how on that matter or a personal experience of the same. And without giving indication that indeed they are only a Jack of All Trades and a Master of None, you'll find that at best they simply !!!! couple of people off, at worse they give someone an information that is plain wrong. And if they insist on taking you round the bend to give you that information that is worse of all. IMHO :)

I have no problem with the answers I got in this thread, I didn't agree with some, I thought the others were useful, in either case I clearly indicated that.
'Tis the DVardy that had the need to resurrect this thread, not me.

And it might have something to do with us crossing swords here

    and here

But as I said there, I'm over and out on that subject ... Feel free to continue if you must.

As far as I can see you haven't provided any useful advice or information yourself to anyone on here. Which is a pity because despite all appearances you might actually have had some.

I thought I did exactly that in one of those above mentioned posts, as I thought my personal experience of the subject matter has given me enough info to share and hopefully help someone, but than again, that is just my opinion and those are highly subjective. Ah well...
