Making a claim 2 years after an accident?

Bit of background....
I was involved in a fairly serious car accident 2 years ago in which I was the passenger in my now ex boyfriends car. We were hit from the passenger side by a 4x4 which pushed us through a brick wall on the other side of the road. I was cut from the vehicle but sustained fairly minimal injuries (Glass in my face plus very bad bruising and whiplash) He was lucky not to be pursued for dangerous driving (or was it careless.?) as the accident was entirely his fault.
I was told at the time I wasnt going to make a claim by my ex.
Being young at the time I went along with it as I didnt want him to be hurt by me claiming against him (bit silly I know but as I said I was young and probably stupid)
Thinking hypothetically could I still make a claim?
Only saying this as Ive recently been in another accident where Im pursuing for a whiplash claim. Again I was the passenger (maybe I should stick to being the driver?!;))
Only really after points of view really...What would you do?
Many Thanks

green eyed monster wanting jsut cash, they may query why all of a sudden you want to claim at the same time you are claiming for anotherDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

yes you can claim for both but expect the insurer to ask questions as to why you left it 2 years and also claiming for the most recent one..Sealed pot challenger # 10

Thats what I was thinking, plus I assume Id have to get a solicitor to pursue the claim?
I think its not worth the hassle to go through with it now.
Just wish I had been strong enough at the time to do what my head was telling me to do and not my heart...0 -
Statute of limitation says you have 3 years from date of accident to claim for bodily injury. Lots of people leave it a couple of years before claiming to see how there recovery progresses, I wouldn't worry about it. If you were really injured then why not pursue a claim? Don't take it right to the wire though as the solicitor will need a couple of months to do his thing. If you need more help let me know and I'll send you my email address.0
