parking ticket today, wirral council, cherry tree centre

Options
This morning I paid for my parking, but was 15 mins late getting back to my car, the official man was already writing out the ticket, its a council car park, but its from civil enforcement team.

Do I ignore or pay up.. my first ever parking ticket so not sure what to do, (have been driving for over 20 yrs).

Thanks

The information we need has to be decrypted from your ticket:
Get the ticket and read through, find where it says send payment to>>>>>>>,,,,
    Please provide that information
Where does it ask to send the money.
    We need that ASAP !

I would get it now, it will only take a few seconds or your post will fall down the lists and not get answered, this is a very busy board

Thank you, it is not a parking ticket or a fine it was a invoice inviting you to pay them some money you worked for because they are too lazy to work.
You can ignore it and there is not a lot they can do.
If you do decide to pay, budget in another £150 for the late payment charges as they are scammers that come back for more money.
If you ignore it they will buy your data from dvla and send fake threat letters full of increasing threats to take court action, they may pass it on to debt collectors who again have no other power than harassment and will send more threats, then they may get a spotty kid from the debt collectors to pester you on the phone .
Then they will give it up as a bad job.
Any appeal you make will be rejected and will increase the harassment.
So 2 choices, Ignore them as hundreds on here have already and we are all ok and nothing has happened other than the empty threats listed above.
Or pay up and be prepared to pay a few extra charges in late payment charges until you do stop paying them.
Remember ALL the threats they make are rubbish and have no legal standing and they would loose in court if they did try to follow threats.
This is a scam of impersonation of real authority.
My advice: IGNORE them but learn what IGNORE means and stick to it.

totall con 100%,,its an unenforceable invoice,,ignore absolutely everything,,have a look in the sticky ppcs and what to expect. do not reply/contact/pay,,nothing can/will be done,, they will not do court, as they know if they do,, they will lose.

IGNORE them BUT if that car park has signs re clamping I wouldn't park there again as they may well find an "excuse" to clamp you , even though they can not clamp for the unpaid ticket ...well not legally anyway !

Best advice any car park that has clamping signs should be avoided !

Ignore it and all the letters that follow but do not park in that car park until clamping is actually banned (when the Freedoms Bill has gone through).

And their employee was certainly not an 'official man' - National Clamps are thugs.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Maybe learn about the scam that is PPC fake PCNs. No laws or regs have been broken here.

Funny how many regular MSEers actually think you can avoid the fake PCN scam so easily (not possible as it's a con and they issue their flyers for anything).
