Hi Everyone, I connected to Sky just before Christmas, but since the 11th Jan I've been without it due to pole holding Dish snapping, and after numerous phone calls + engineers failing to turn up twice after me taking time off work to accommodate them i am still no further on getting my service resumed . I am at my wits end because i don't know what to do next(Customer services seem to be no help) + they are still taking my Direct Debit should i stop my Direct Debit?,can i seek recompense?. Any advice would be appreciated.cooperama

i've had no service before and the've refunded the days i had without the service.
You just have to stick with it, maybe ask to speak to a manager (nicely!) and explain it.0 -
I got refunded the days I lost too when my system "lost" the signal for a week.0

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

I had probs with sky when I tried moving house etc. I
Lost viewing for over a week, numerous wrong installation dates being sent out to my old house, different to what I was told on the phone, etc.
I was upgrading to sky + for £49, as I was going to cancel, they also offered me free installation for my home move.
My card details were given 10+ times, I Made over 20 long lasting calls,
They were all very helpful at the time but problems arose after each speaking, the best thing to do is get their full name and user id so you can contact the same person who knows (ha ha) what’s going on, rather than different people getting involved.
The last lady I spoke to has been very good, she even phones me up now to make sure everything is still ok! She said they are going to refund me £23 for lost viewing and an extra £10 for my phone calls and trouble caused. Installation arranged for this Sat so fingers crossed.0
