Terms and Conditions

1. By entering any of these competitions, entrants will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions set out below.
2. The competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 years and over.
3. Entry is limited to one entry per person per competition.
4. Entry is free but entrants should be aware that they may be subject to local call charges depending on their individual Internet access arrangements.
5. Any misrepresented or fraudulent entries by an entrant will be deemed invalid by Discovery.
6. Employees of Discovery Communications Europe Limited, its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates (“Discovery”), Singapore Airlines Limited, its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates (“Singapore Airlines”), and members of their families, their agents or any other person(s) connected with the competitions are not eligible to participate in these competitions.
7. Discovery reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude entrants and withhold prizes for breach of any of these terms and conditions.

I hope its ok to add a few specific terms so we have them for the record:

Entry is limited to one entry per person per competition.

The winning prize shall only include return flights, 4 days hotel accommodation in the destination city and a transfer from the destination city’s airport to the hotel. For the avoidance of doubt winners shall be responsible for any transfers from the hotel to the destination city airport.
15. UK transfers to and from Heathrow Airport are the responsibility of the winners.
16. Each winner and their guest must travel on the same flights on the same day (outbound and inbound).
17. Flight restrictions apply and any flights and transfers won are subject to availability. For the avoidance of doubt Singapore Airlines will not be able to offer flights during the following periods:
(a) 1 July 2011 to 15 August 2011; and
(b) dates after 15 December 2012 (unless otherwise notified in writing).
18. A Winner’s destination hotel will typically have its own cancellation policy and if the winner decides to cancel, there may be a cancellation fee payable by the winner.
19. Any extensions to a winner’s stay in the destination city shall be entirely at the winner’s own expense.
20. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-upgradable.
21. No cash alternatives will be offered for the prize.
22. Travel insurance is not included in the prize.
23. Visas, if required, are the responsibility of winners.
