May I just add that the PC World thread has had an incredible 24527 views in the space of 18 days!! Couldn't it be one of the biggest posts ever on MSE? Surely that makes it worth the award alone!

JPS - I believe that the view figures should be even higher than >24,000. As I mentioned in my nomination for this thread (just under yours), there was a time that the views were >14,000 then dropped to c4,000 and then dropped again to c2,000. So adding on the 12,000 views which "disappeared" I think the view figure should in reality by >36,000.

Oh right Cuppatea - I thought the figures might have been updated and the old figure added back on somehow. If not then my word, that's alot of views!!!

  • yep agree the pcworld post is the best...i also managed to sell one studio dv for a profit of 15, which meant mine studio dv cost me 5.00 instead of 79.99 (not worth that anyway, butt worth 20, let alone a 5.00)

closely followed according to the wife anyway...the m&s one

Fantastic post which has had so much discussion and saved people so much money over just a few weeks. Should be post of the month in my opinion!

  • Sorry - i've just pasted this from my other thread:

We ( i should say 'she'!) started breastfeeding our newborn just two weeks ago and it was really painful for my wife. To the extent where her nipples were bleeding and she was dreading our baby waking up as she'd want to feed. My wife was really upset and feeling low. I set up a thread asking for advice from anyone else who'd been though it and the responses were overwhelming.

    see here:
