If I spent a lot on a litter tray it would be one of these self cleaning ones: http://www.thelittermaid.co.uk/
    or

I've seen the Cat Genie before. Agree that it is the top of the range for cat litters... but I think probably costs a bit more than a hundred quid :rotfl: Ah well, lottery tomorrow :D:p

Yes, it's on my lottery list :rotfl:I'm considering the litter maid though.

Yes, it looks quite good, especially for fussy cats who turn their noses up at the slightest soiling in the tray :D And it costs less than the litter box I originally posted on this thread, so reasonable value for money too ;)
  • Ohhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyy £100+ on a litter tray
I got one of these recently as discovered my huge boy wasn't "comfy" in the big tray that I had as he couldn't turn around comfortably.

    It's enormous 50cm x 66cm x 46cm

It's quite expensive @ £36.99 (but no where near £100 - still reeling from that!)

I also don't get a lot of tracking as the entrance lip is quite high.

The pink one I have (and am going to get another) is £22 on Z+. The pink bit at the top swivels open (along with the door) so you don't have to remove the whole lid to clean out the tray. Very handy for me with the amount of times I'm on my knees scooping the poop. (and the wee, but that didn't rhyme :rotfl:)

I think you can get other colours as well (I've seen them at cat shows), but my 3 boys and 2 girls have pink or nothing :rotfl:

But probably not big enough for your boy, rising :)

LOL probably not - I still can't have the door on this one or he can't get in & turn around ...... he's really long

    ....... even I wouldn't buy this!!!

This litter box is £109 on Zooplus  Would you spend (or indeed have you spent) this amount of money on a litter tray?

The benefits of it over a normal tray as far as I can see is that the cat enters/exits at the top, so there is no tracking of the litter on the floor. I just bought one of these for each of my trays which does the same job :rotfl::

    Thoughts??

Flippin heck, I would just go get one of those big plastic bins with a lid, cut a cat sized hole in it and then grind the edges down with a dremel.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Although having said that, I was surprised how quickly each of them happily learned to use the toilet when I got a litter kwitter thing a couple of years ago, it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be.

How do they manage the flush?
