Day / Night meter readings, wrong on site?
Hi,
We recently had our analogue electricity meter replaced with a digital one. Our energy provider have asked us, as they do every three months, for our meter readings.
Looking at the online input form it seems the engineer who replaced the meter updated our supplier with the meter readings at that time. At this moment (as I look at the meter) we're on the Day rate with the meter flashing (1), where the day KWh total is 6x what the night total is (no surprise there as hardly anything is on between 12-7am).
However, on the online form (1) is listed as Night units, where (2) is day. This is obviously the wrong way around. I suppose I'm to contact our supplier about this, or should I just take their word that it's correct and ignore it? I've heard some suppliers charge fees to get an engineer out to inspect issues etc and I'm not sure I can be arsed with this.
Thanks!
