Power DVD error

I've got power dvd 5.0, but when I play some material I am receiving errors such as this, "TV out port not configured properly" and then also this "Can't play copyright protected DVDs with TV out function enabled". I am using windows Me and have check the help and support page but no. How can I can I get these movies to play?
