Many UK companies have a blanket statement that no comments relating to the company's business or its workplace can be made without management authorisation in any public forum or to the press.
Maybe it's just at the higher levels of employee grade that such a thing is explicitly included as part of the employees standard terms and conditions: it was in mine.
(This is why you never get those people who REALLY know the details of something in the news commenting on forums/letters to the press etc)0 -
how many stories have we heard of employees being sacked or prosecuted for posting comments on facebook
also how many posts of this form are for "i am posting this for a freind or i am posting this for a mate or i am posting this on behalf of my OH" why do they not post then0
