Any good offers on Applaws cat food?

I'm planning on buying a reasonable amount of Applaws dry food for the cats as we're out now. Two or three 7.5kg bags. I used to order from Pet Supermarket, but it seems that Berriwood wholesale is cheaper now at first glance (haven't worked out cashback yet).

I was wondering if anyone has seen any good offers that I might of missed, or has any voucher codes for pet supermarket, or other places that mght work out better value?

Also, has anybody used Berriwoods, are they okay?

2 x 7.5kg bags are £66 on Zooplus. Apologies if you are already aware, but you can get cash back through TCB with them (Not sure about Quidco as don't use it) and if you are a new customer you get 10% off plus a free gift of cat treats. If you are an existing customer, you could add a little more to your basket and use the code STOCK-UP to get 5% off a £75+ order. You also get Z+ reward points which you can exchange for goodies.

Encore dry cat food is the same 80% meat content food as applaws, made by the same company and is considerably cheaper. They sell it in Sainsburys definitely.

I was going to suggest the same, but don't think they sell it in large sizes like 7.5kg? I think they only do 800 grams. Would probably work out more expensive buying lots of small bags than a couple of large ones ;)

doh! it works out loads cheaper then to get the big bags. Storing all those little ones would be a nightmare too  :rotfl:

True! I am always struggling to store all my cat food purchases, despite the fact that there is a dedicated, large, cat food cupboard in the kitchen :rotfl: :p

I did think about encore as have used it before but always thought is was more expensive?

    Applaws - £33 for 7.5kg = 44p/100g
    Encore £4.30 for 800g = 53.8p/100g

I have a lovely "tin" that I keep the dry cat food in, it holds around 3kg. I think it was free with some Iams a long time ago. Must have been a long time ago as it is ages since I have fed that to my cats :rotfl:.

So, that is not the problem for me - it the amount of bags of food I have "in reserve" and all the tins of Grau, Terra Felis, Encore (for the ginger boy who won't eat the others), and tetra paks of Bozita. Not to mention the Smilla treats, the Cosma treats, the bag of dried cat nip, the cat nip spray, the spare nappy sacks.... shall I go on.... :rotfl:

Great! You should get a little treat with your order as well, then, being a newbie and you will also get 65 Zooplus points which you can save up for things, both large and small ;) Did you do your cash back as well?
