Storage Heaters

We're about to put an offer in on a flat with storage heating. As much as we would prefer gas, we love the flat. However one of the radiators is situated in a really stupid place - does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to move a storage heater about two meters?
And does anyone know if its dangerous to put furniture in front of a storage heater? E.G a sofa?

Moving them isn't too difficult. Moving the wires might be more problematic.Happy chappy0

Its probably a half day job for an electrician, if you can find a good electricioan who will sell you just 1/2 a day. Compared to the amount you are about to spend on the flat, it's peanuts. You will spend more on paint.0
