Car question

I don't know whether this is the place to ask, sorry if not. My Ford Focus tail light/brake light has stopped working - I've changed the bulb twice and it refuses to work. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong?

Fuses will be listed in Haynes manual, or on the fuse box cover. I'd spend a bit of time wiggling the bulb around first though; car lights are notorious for corroding/having poor connections.
The other thing to check is the switch on the brake pedal.Happy chappy0 -
If it's only the one light, I would suspect a loose wire / bad earth.

Have a look in your car user manual. It should tell you where the fuse box is and also include a diagram of which fuse does what. This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down0

Hmm - I'm pretty sure it's the right bulb - selected with the help of Halfords lookup book. I'll give the swap a try, though.£2 coin savers club: £1.49

When I used the wrong bulb in my offside brake light all three of my brake lights stayed on!
Easily done though - I'd just used a slightly different wattage IIRC.
