laptop advice

hi all i have seen 2 laptop i like just got a question one has 1.7 ghz and 512 mb ram and a 430 processor the other has 1.6 ghz and 1024 mb ram and a 430 processor what one would be the better one ?

    the one with 1gig of ram
    however that's based on everything being the same except the clock speed of the processor and ram amount

    also if the 1.6 is a celeron and the 1.7 a pentium m then it may be better to go with the 1.7 even though it has less ram (that's usually easily upgraded)

    like above, if both cpu's are the same type go for the extra ram.
