How can I take down my website?

A few years ago I hosted a website on the free space provided by Freeserve, my then ISP. The website is still there, but I can't seem to access the space anymore to take it down. I know freeserve was taken over by Wanadoo and then by Orange! I originally made the site and uploaded it when I was on dial up and I am now on broadband and don't have a dial up modem. Any suggestions please.
Thanks

If you can't access the web space using your old account (dial-up or broadband shouldn't matter), send an email to Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange with the account details asking them to delete it for you.0

you are not alone in having Orange problems
some members over at orangeproblems.co.uk are having the same problem0 -
Are you on a different connection, I assume you are as you've moved from dial-up to broadband.
This may work https://www.web2ftp.com I use it at Uni where FTP software does not work that site does.0 -
Perhaps I should have mentioned that my ISP is now Tiscali.
Have tried web2ftp and it says I have no rights to go into that webspace!

Phone them up as because you dont have a freeserve account anymore they would of suspended any user rights for web space but didnt take down the site, you dont have any rights of access because you changed ISP.0
