Whether it's too good to be true or not, and I agree it seems to me, it really is a win-win situation if you can afford to tie up £40 for a little while.
If they don't send it then Amazon will make sure you get the money back, if they do send it then you have a DVD burning PVR for minimul outlay.
Personally I have sent my money, am taking my chance, and will post a result when I have one. I understand the incredularity of some members, but the difference between Amazon Marketplace and the great Ebay/Paypal dynasty is that Amazon are pretty damn effective at getting your money back to you if it all goes tits up!
Well done OP... if this pans out my thanks will be swift!
I've just received the order cancelled e mail. It was worth a try !!
Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,
We're sorry, but the following order from extremepcscouk has been cancelled because the items you purchased were out of stock. Please return and attempt to purchase again at a later time.

No email but order disappeared from their system so it amounts to the same thing I expect.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Had the money been taken from your credit card??
I'm trying to work out what they're trying to achieve by offering goods at prices which they can never make a profit from??
If they don't have access to your account/credit card (which they don't) then it must be that they get your Amazon account email address to sell to Spammers and if you've used the email address for your Amazon account then its going to be a valid account. Watch out for all the spam!!!!0 -
How will I notice it from amongst all the medications, get rich quick schemes, lottery winnings and of course my favourite"I have £200.000.000 to give away, just give me your account number etc"I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Otherwise you must be covered my credit card company?
..
You're only covered by CC under Consumer Credit Act if the total value of the transaction is over £100 and all or part (at least £100) is paid by CC. So in this case no CC cover I would suggest.0 -
