Situation
Loan for £6000 taken out in November 2006, 2 months left to pay back now. Turns out I had PPI which i didn't know about so i do not think i asked for it. I don't have T&C's so will need to request them back.
Should I do the reclaim on my own or go through a solicitor to do it?

Do it yourself jopop, download the questionnaire from this site
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
2/3 way down the page below "An ode to remember" in either Word or PDF format
If you have no paperwork at all it might pay to SAR them first to get everything they have on you, one off cost of £10
Doing it yourself saves you at least 25% of any win and couldn't be easier with advise off here, good luckSuccesses

On your own! There's no need to involve a solicitor (or worse still a claims company). You'll get plenty of help here if you need it.0

You will find that most solicitors wont touch this sort of thing with a bargepole.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
