Cast Iron radiators

I am considering replacing some of our radiators with cast iron rads during the renovation of our victorian house. The house is quite large with 3.2m high ceiling so I need the radiators to be efficient. Is it better to install the newer high efficient radiators than cast iron ones?
Can you please advise or tell me if you have these in your house and if they work well?
Also is it better to get a new reproduction ones than refurbished originals?
Thanks

If you mean panel rads then no. Modern cast iron radiators can be extremely efficient - more so than panel rads.Is it better to install the newer high efficient radiators than cast iron ones?
Yes because they meet your heating requirements whilst providing the contemporary look you are seeking. Also is it better to get a new reproduction ones than refurbished originals?

Thanks, I was going to replace them to retain the period character but worried about fitting a cast iron radiator with all kind of rust and gung clogging up the central heating system. I suppose I am better off with a reproduction as it will be new!0
