Heads up -

The DWP are issuing a new kind of DLA claim for starting this month, here is the adult one >>> and<<< here are the notes to accompany the claim form. I don't yet know the scoring mechanisms for this new form but I expect them to be similar to the PIP test descriptors & points such as those PIP descriptors here :D

    why are they spending loads of money on new dla forms when they are changing the name to pip they will have to send new forms again with the new name what a waist of money
  • Further to #1 - I've now compared the old & new side by side and it seems to me to have been largely designed to ' scope ' into areas generally expressed in broad terms as mental health issues. All in all its just a clearer layout, but that of course will still terrify people and will make it no easier to fill in.

    I had the child version of this new form to complete and I seemed to find it much easier to complete (i e the form gave more guidance) than the old form.
